Dick’s imagination brings new ideas to world. Several product and service designs became reality and some can be called innovations. His research to the key issues for open innovation in the business ecosystem of the service sector to gain sustainable competitive advantages is described as a breakthrough in science. Since then he created more models and visuals to give insight to create the future world.
Dick likes to stay close to reality and see how it is related to nature. As top sportsman he learned that we are limited by natural forces. In his work with many regulations he learned also that the more limitations we encounter, even more freedom can be found. It is like playing a board game, which is one of his favourite activities.
Dick brings insight and revolutionary thinking to CEOs, managing directors, supervisors, entrepreneurs and senior teams. By using visualisations and breakthrough techniques he creates the required leadership and business model to step into the future.
Dick shares his knowledge by giving colleges at universities, delivering keynotes and is board member of the Nyenrode Business School Alumni circle “Innovation Management”. He is generalist, an open and transparent person and he can draw on extensive knowledge and experience.
Dick is an authority in creating the future. His talent to visit and experience the future is invaluable. As very strong conceptual thinker he knows how to reduce complex problems to the core, after which the solution is only a logical consequence.
