Trust is trending, or should I say the lack of it is. A recent New York Times (NYT) …
Louise is the type of person who creates her own luck. In 2000, she left a stable job in Denmark for an uncertain French adventure and ended up at Airbus by way of L’Oreal. Years later, she wrote a note that led to the creation of a new job within Airbus and her appointment to that position – a position that launched Airbus’s innovation center A³ and a Venture firm in Silicon Valley. This inspired the Airbus Leadership University in North America and led the engineering powerhouse to focus on the mindsets of employees and to disrupt itself in the process.
Based in Silicon Valley, Louise manages innovation leadership practices and tools in the Airbus DNA through her work with Singularity University, XPrize, Solvenext, InsideRisk and other partners. She also instigated and led Airbus’ company-wide innovation and cultural transformation initiative known as Dream Big. All people from within Airbus (135,000 employees), were encouraged and supported to see their innovative ideas come to light and help shape the company’s future vision. Previously, she led the cultural transformation of Airbus Helicopters, Talent Executive Management, Learning and Development and many others.
Today, Louise has again, created a new position to cement the intrapreneurial mindset, culture and processes within Airbus. She is now the Vice President of Intrapreneurship at Airbus and People/Culture at A³. Her transformation work has been featured in several magazines (CLO, Intrapreneurship) and she is frequently invited to speak and share her real-life stories from the inside at large transformation, learning and innovation conferences.
Louise’s passion lies in people, innovation, culture and change. Her foundation is her husband and three international children with whom she enjoys traveling, exploring, playing and spending time in nature.
